Will MSHA Accept Online Training?

 

 Absolutely! As long as the training company has taken the necessary steps to obtain approval. Under Part 46 you are responsible for your own MSHA training and must have an MSHA approved training plan before you take our course. If you already have a training plan then all you need to do is add "Computer based module" to your plan under Teaching Methods in each section. You will then need to send us a copy of your plan so we can ensure it corresponds with our training course. If you don't have a training plan, we can send you an approved template that you can complete and customize for your company.

Under Part 48, you will receive training under our approved training plan. If you need Part 48 training you are not required to have your own plan. Our Cooperative training plan has been approved by MSHA to conduct Part 48 training online.
